3 QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF FROM TIME TO TIME…

1.  WHY DO I WAKE-UP IN THE MORNING?

2.  WHERE ARE MY DAILY ACTIVITIES LEADING ME?

3.  IS THE NEXT DAY A ‘REPETITION’ OR ‘PROGRESS’ FROM THE DAY BEFORE?

1.  WHY DO I WAKE-UP IN THE MORNING?

Do you repeatedly wake-up whenever you want, getting out of bed at random times?  The average person goes to bed at night not knowing what time they will start their day.  Even worse… the average person will wake-up without any expectations of what the day will bring.  I’m sure many of you have sat in a classroom and asked yourself… “Why am I here?”  If you have no answer to that question, then you have no real purpose for being in that class.  Well the same question applies to your life.  “Why am I waking up in the morning?”  If you have no answer… then what is your purpose for living!

2.  WHERE ARE MY DAILY ACTIVITIES LEADING ME?

Does your normal routines amount to anything?  Everybody on the face of the earth claims to be busy… but only a small percentage are actually spending their day doing meaningful activities.  Now it’s not healthy to fill our entire daily schedule with work, just as it’s not advantageous to fill our entire daily schedule with play, but if your daily level of play outweighs your daily level of work… it might be smart to stop and consider where your lifestyle is leading you.  Too many people fail to realize that what we do daily is exactly what we will become successful at.  Therefore, make sure what you’re doing everyday leads you to a positive success.

3.  IS THE NEXT DAY A ‘REPETITION’ OR ‘PROGRESS’ FROM THE DAY BEFORE?

Are you building on the activities you were involved in yesterday, or is each day the start of something irrelevant?  There is nothing wrong with doing the same things everyday repeatedly… as long as what you’re doing repeatedly is leading you somewhere.  What you do today should be a building block for what you continue to do tomorrow.  The truth is that each day will offer a new opportunity… but everyday should not be another starting point from nowhere.  Your days will amount to nothing without purpose, but your life will go nowhere without momentum… so focus on building a little momentum each day!
