WATCH WHAT YOU WAKE-UP TO…

It’s incredible how our unconscious actions lead us through our day.

What’s more surprising is where those actions come from.

We go through endless actions, mannerisms, thoughts, and word usage everyday… and over 95% of what we go through is second nature.  Meaning… we don’t give it a second thought before we do them.  It’s as if what we do daily comes out of nowhere mentally.

But the truth is…

EVERYTHING WE DO COMES FROM EVERYTHING WE’VE LEARNED!

This is why habits are so hard to break!  Everything we do… comes from years and years of everything we’ve learned, and it takes more than a couple of weeks to break years and years of training.

For this reason, diets, work-outs, and many other self-proclaimed lifestyle changes… often fail!

It’s difficult to change… I know because I’ve started, failed, started again, and failed often.  However, I’ve learned one of the greatest secrets to having victory with personal change.

HOW WE BEGIN OUR DAY… IS HOW WE WILL SPEND OUR DAY!

Simple right?  I’m sure you’ve heard this before… but it’s the simplest solutions that work best.

The truth is, how we begin our day dictates what we do throughout the day… both physically and mentally.  But here is what many people fail to realize.  How we begin our days routinely… will ultimately change our actions, mannerisms, thoughts, and word usage.

SO WATCH WHAT YOU WAKE-UP TO!!! 

Stop doing what common people do in the morning!

Stop grabbing your phone!

Stop looking at the negative news channels!

Stop letting your first thoughts be about what you don’t want to do!

And it’s more than just simply telling yourself, “I’m going to have a good day.”  Of course saying this helps, but if you’re serious about making lasting change… here are the three best ways to kick-off your day.

1.  PRAYER

Giving thanks and expressing gratefulness is the absolute best way to begin your day.  The peace and calm you’ll discover will place you in the right mindset for the day.  Don’t take my word for it… just try it for yourself.

2.  READING

Whether it’s the bible, or other positive words… waking up to uplifting reading gives you a different perspective on what you’ll face when you walk out your door.  Remember: Positive energy carries throughout the day.

3.  EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL

Not to be confused with uplifting reading.  This is important!!!  Whatever aspect of your life you’d wish to change, it’s in your best interest to start your day reading how to be successful in that area.  Example… if you’re trying to get in shape, a book or magazine on healthy eating is a great way to start your day.  (Included with a little morning exercise!)
