1. DID MY ACTIVITIES TODAY MOVE ME ANY CLOSER TO MY GOALS?
We can set a goal one day, and in less than a month’s time… our actions lead us away from those goals. This question is vital to our overall success, because old habits are hard to break! Our daily activities change whenever we decide to sacrifice for our goals… and we tend to come out the gates swinging. Then after a month or so, our old habits unconsciously creeps back into our daily routines… causing us to never reach our goals. This question should be written down, and made visible to us once, or even twice a day.
2. DO I HAVE A DEFINITE PLAN OF WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH TOMORROW?
If we’re to consider ourselves achievers, then there is nothing more dangerous than starting our day without a plan, schedule, or a course of action. Remember… people who react to life decide what will become of their day after they wake-up, and more times than not, they allow others to influence their daily activities. But for us achievers… our daily activities are planned out before we go to bed the night before. You should only have nothing planned for the day… if you’ve planned to do nothing that day.
3. IS MY LIFE HEADED IN THE DIRECTION OF MY CHOOSING?
Now it’s great when your activities are moving you closer to your goals, and it’s great to have a definite plan set-up for tomorrow, but the most important question is; Are they your plans? In other words… whose life are you living? There are so many achievers out there who are successful in their endeavors, but they are unhappy personally. Why? Because most of the time they became successful at accomplishing someone else’s dream. Whether their parents pushed too hard in a certain career field, or they later discovered they hated their chosen field… they’re not fulfilled with what they do daily. Make sure you’re striving for the goals of your choosing.
