3 GREAT WAYS TO RE-INTRODUCE YOURSELF.

Have you ever been in a rut?

I’m talking about the type of ‘rut’ that over time causes you to lose awareness of the little things around you?

Have you repeated the same routine for so long… that you’re oblivious to the changes it has created in your life?

You wake-up one morning and ask yourself, “How did I gain so much weight?”

You look in the mirror one day and say to yourself, “How long have I had this hairstyle?”

You stop and observe your co-workers and wonder, “Where did all these young people come from, and how did they become my supervisors?”

It can happen to the best of us!

And if we’re not careful, our daily rat-races can cause us to sleep walk through life… until we stop paying attention, until we begin to let ourselves go… until we find ourselves left behind.

1.  GO GET THAT CAREER YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED.

If you ask the average worker, “What did you want to become in life?”… more than likely, it’s not what they’re currently doing for a living.  There is nothing like driving to the wrong job everyday to cause you to sleep walk through life.  We all have to eat… so we all must work.  Therefore… a change in your career will not only re-introduce yourself, it will introduce you to a meaningful way of making a living.

2.  STOP DOING THINGS YOU KNOW YOU DON’T WANT TO DO.

Outside of our careers… we get caught up in an array of mundane activities.  We spend half our time running around because we feel obligated to others, and before we know it… our families, friends, and associates can easily replace our desires with their needs.  It’s okay to do things for people, but be weary of spending all your time serving other people’s needs… while complaining about it.  Over half of your schedule should be filled with activities you love, because doing what you love will re-introduce you to peace, happiness, and excitement!

3.  EMBRACE ‘DRASTIC CHANGE!’

Whether it’s mental, physical, or geographical… don’t be afraid to Shake Things Up!  If your current mentality is not working for you… don’t be afraid to boldly declare your new philosophy.  If you’re no longer satisfied with your physical appearance… make those big necessary changes that will make you happy!  If you no longer relate to your surroundings, don’t hesitate… move to another city, another state, or even out of the country!  Introduce yourself to a new world, a world that will bring out the best in you!
