ARE YOU YOUR BEST FRIEND… OR YOUR GREATEST ENEMY?

Let’s face it… we love to blame, point the finger, and place the responsibility on everyone and everything for our mishaps in life.

If it happened to us… someone made it happen.

If we can’t get ahead… something is holding us back.

If it’s anyone’s fault… it’s not ours!

We look for every circumstance, every situation, and every excuse, without ever looking at the actual cause…

OURSELVES

In life… there are only two ways we can treat ourselves.

WE CAN BE OUR OWN BEST FRIEND…

OR WE CAN BE OUR OWN WORST ENEMY!

Where we all are at this point in our lives, is merely the sum of the opportunities we’ve taking advantage of, and the opportunities we’ve neglected.

No one made you get bad grades, or skip school, and if you were hanging with the wrong crowd… it was your decision to stay with that crowd.

No one made you throw away your money as soon as you earned it, and if you were raised in an environment that never saved… it was your decision to never learn how to budget.

No one made you overeat yourself into poor health, and if you’re around people who eat the wrong foods… it was your decision not to workout.

The guilty never see themselves in the mirror, just the illusion of everyone they blame.  But in reality… only one person is looking back in that mirror.  When we look in our own mirror… that person looking back is the most influential person in our lives.

That person has control over your friends.

That person has control over your situation.

That person is in the driver’s seat to influence every aspect of your life.

But you have to ask yourself…

WILL THAT PERSON BECOME MY BEST FRIEND… OR MY GREATEST ENEMY?
