Time to mentally unwind from all the hard work we’ve been doing this week. Right?
We deserve a little break from all of our accomplishments this week. But how much did you really accomplish this week? Or better yet… did you accomplish what you set-out to accomplish for yourself?
Did you accomplish what you wanted in your personal life?
Did you accomplish what you wanted for your personal goals?
The truth is most of us don’t… and we blame it on our jobs!
But remember… there are 24-hours in a day, and if you do these 3 things, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish.
1. TURN OFF THE T.V.!!!
This is something I’ve struggled with for years! When you get a chance, write down how many hours of television you watch during the week. For some people, it will amount to 40-hours. (That’s an entire work week!) Could you imagine what you could accomplish with that 40-hours?
2. PUT DOWN THE SMART PHONE.
Now I know they call it a smart phone… but people do really dumb stuff with it. It’s amazing to see the number of us who keep our phones in our hands… Constantly! We can’t walk without it! We can’t drive without it… and many of us can’t go to the bathroom without it. Now imagine what we could accomplish if we only picked up our smart phones to make a call? (Yeah Right!)
3. STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT EVERYBODY IS DOING.
When I learned this… my daily accomplishments went through the roof! I also gained peace of mind. Now I’m not saying you should shut yourself off from the world, but you need to separate yourself from irrelevant daily news. Most people claim they don’t have enough time for themselves, but if you watch them… they’ll spend all their free time talking about what everybody else is doing. Imagine if we focused that time on what we needed to do?
NOW GO OUT THERE AND BECOME AMAZED AT WHAT YOU ACCOMPLISH!!!
