Throughout your journey in life… YOU WILL FALL!
AND YES… AT TIMES IT WILL HURT!
More than likely, you will fall more than once, but one of the lessons in life is learning what caused you to fall in the first place… in order to avoid too many repeat occurrences. Nevertheless… if you’ve lived a full life, then at some point you’ve experienced that HARD FALL!
The HARD FALL that leaves you BATTERED, BRUISED, HURT, and ANGRY… asking GOD why as you lose faith!
Unfortunately… this is the type of fall that many people never recover from!
Ever heard someone talk about how their life failed to turn out the way they thought, and they blamed it on something that happened to them years ago? If this is you, then here is the truth.
THE HARD FALL THAT HAPPENED TO YOU YEARS AGO… IS NOT THE CAUSE!
YOUR FAILURE TO RESPOND IS THE CAUSE!
There is one thing in common among those who have achieved greatness and those who have never achieved… THEY BOTH HAD TO ENDURE A HARD FALL.! The obvious difference is that people who achieved greatness learned how to respond!
We all have fallen hard at some point in our lives, and if you haven’t… YOU WILL!
With that said, if… and only if you wish to achieve greatness, there are only two ways to respond when you have fallen hard:
1. LET IT OUT!
We have all been told that fear, anger, doubt, and self-pity must be eliminated from our lives if we truly wish to succeed. Unfortunately, when we fall hard, it’s human nature. Don’t beat yourself up when these emotions arrive… because we’re all human. So Let It Out! Express those emotions; scream, shout, cry, and get out what you need to get out… for the moment!
2. START AGAIN!!!
Remember, Let It Out… FOR THE MOMENT! Pity parties should only last as long as a real party does… One Night! Let It Out… and Get It Out… because tomorrow is a new day! I know some wounds take a little longer to heal… but it shouldn’t take a lifetime. Wherever you pick yourself back up… is where you start, and if starting again means starting from the beginning, remember that it’s better than staying down. When you start again, you’ll eventually catch back up… and you’ll inevitably surpass your previous efforts.
GREATNESS ALWAYS RESPONDS!
