THE TRUTH ABOUT MONDAY MORNINGS…

The great speaker Les Brown (no relation) said that most heart attacks occur on Monday mornings!

This is a startling fact, because we all know that heart attacks are caused by stress, poor health, and years of extreme fatigue.  But to have the majority of heart attacks at the beginning of our weeks is worth paying attention to.

Our Monday mornings are our beginnings!  It’s an opportunity to make a fresh start.  It’s a chance to hit the ground running after two days of mental and physical rest.  It’s a weekly starting line for what we will accomplish during the week.

Right?

But regrettably, for the majority of Americans… it’s the most depressing day of the week!  And the truth about Monday mornings is this: More than any other day, our attitudes about Mondays are based off of two questions.

1.  DO WE LOVE WHAT WE DO FOR A LIVING?

2.  DO WE HATE WHAT WE DO FOR A LIVING?

Monday mornings can be the beginning of our ‘Living the Dream’… or it can be the start of a weekly prison sentence!  And far too often, most people fail to consider this prior to looking for a job.

Now to be fair… regardless of the job you have, Monday morning will never compare to Fridays, because everyone strives for the end of the journey.  So Friday will always be KING!  Nevertheless, Mondays could be made less stressful in life when we prepare for our careers… instead of having to settle for a job to make ends meet.

Because the truth is… there is nothing more depressing than driving to a job you hate on Monday morning!

And Mondays will never change… we will experience them 52 times a year!  But we can change where we’re headed to 52 times a year by choosing a career that makes driving to work worthwhile.

Let’s face it… Monday morning will never be everyone’s favorite day of the week, but there’s a way you can make Monday morning the start to a great destination…

DO WHAT YOU LOVE!
