HAVE A LITTLE TALK WITH YOURSELF…

There are times when your mother can’t help you.

There are times when a teacher can’t provide the answers.

There are times when a book doesn’t self-motivate.

There are times when only one person can reach you…  and that person is YOU!!!

If it hasn’t happened… IT WILL!  It’s that moment in life when you must…

HAVE A LITTLE TALK WITH YOURSELF!

Some of you know what needs to be done.  You are past the years of understanding.  You have the education, you’ve gained the experience, you know what works, you’ve been down the block… and you know better!

But for some reason, you can’t get it right, you can’t get it together… and you just can’t seem to make the necessary changes.

This is that time when you have to stop looking at everyone and everything else… take a hard look in the mirror… and start asking yourself the tough questions.

QUESTION 1:    HOW LONG AM I GOING TO KEEP LYING TO MYSELF?

Many of us get into the habit of telling ourselves, “I’ll start next week,” or “I can improve if I had more money,” or “Next year will be better.”  It’s funny how we don’t like it when others lie to us, but we commonly mislead ourselves.

QUESTION 2:    IS THIS ALL I HAVE TO OFFER MYSELF?

No matter what goals, aspirations, or dreams we share… at some point we are all going to hit that physical or mental brick wall.  This is when many will say that “I’ve done all I can,” right before quitting.  The reason many of us never get back on track is that we believe we have nothing left to give.

QUESTION 3:    AM I GOING TO BE TRUE TO MYSELF TODAY?

A life in ‘mental conflict’ is a life in disarray, inner turmoil, and personal disappointment.  A life in ‘mental harmony’ is a life in rhythm, inner peace, and personal awareness.  The first step to ‘mental harmony’ is being honest with yourself.

IT’S TIME TO START BEING ACCOUNTABLE TO THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR!
